Singer Samantha Jade has announced her engagement to her long term boyfriend, Pat Handlin.
The 31-year-old songstress confirmed the news via Instagram on Thursday night, posting a cute black-and-white photo of herself and Pat in a cute hug, captioned, “YES!”

Jade and Handlin, who is the son of Sony Music Australia CEO Denis Handlin, have kept a very low profile since they reportedly started dating in mid-2017.
Photos of the pair holding hands in public emerged in June 2017 but Jade never officially confirmed the romance.
There are very few photos of Handlin on Jade’s public Instagram profile – probably because she wants to keep her love life private from her 255,000 Instagram followers.
Jade previously dated Swedish music producer Christian Nilsson for seven years, before the couple called it quits in 2013.

The one public comment Jade has made about her beau was in December, when she confirmed he would be joining her family in her hometown of Perth for Christmas.
“We’re going good, we’re very happy!” she told Who magazine at the time.

Christmas is often a tough time for Jade, who sadly lost her mother Jacqui Gibbs to cancer in 2014.
Jacqui was diagnosed in February 2014, at the same time her daughter made her acting debut playing Kylie Minogue on the Channel Seven mini-series INXS: Never Tear Us Apart.
“We always have a moment,” Samantha said in an exclusive interview with Now to Love of remembering her mother on Christmas Day. “And I think every big event especially Christmas, is the time of family and love, and especially your Mum, so it’s tough every year and it’s something that always is very… it’s the big moment of the day realising she’s not there,” she said
And while the 32-year-old and her family have found it incredibly difficult to be without her mum, they try to keep “the tears to a minimum”.
“We always take a second,” she said and then with a smile added, “and then we can hear Mum going ‘enjoy your day, get on with it, enjoy it’, so we try and keep it to a minimum.”
Now she can create new memories with her own beautiful new family. Congrats to the happy couple!
