The 2024 Twisters movie is considered a standalone sequel to Twister, which means it’s not a remake but it’s also not a continuation of the original story.

The two films share the same premise and are set in the same world, but there are no character overlaps.

In saying that though, there are some nods to the original Twister movie from 1996.

James Paxton, the son of Bill Paxton who portrayed Bill Harding in the ‘90s film, makes a cameo in tribute to his late father, and the Dorothy tracking device also makes a return. 

Lee Isaac Chung, the director of Twisters 2024, has explained the connection between Twisters and Twister, calling the latest flick a “new chapter” in the story.

“I see it as a new science experiment. [It’s the] same world. We don’t have the same characters but it’s a new experiment,” Chung told the Inside Total Film podcast.

“There are a lot of nods to the original. But I hope I’ve made it its own thing as well. That’s what I found invigorating about making this movie – the chance to do something new with that first story that I really loved, to do a new chapter, if you will.”

Although there were early plans to have Helen Hunt reprise her role as a meteorologist Jo, as well as ideas about following the life of her and Bill’s daughter, the studio ultimately decided to go with a fresh story set in the same world.

The newest iteration features a fresh group of storm chasers (Daisy Edgar Jones and Glen Powell) who encounter a convergence of multiple weather systems over central Oklahoma. Twisters also incorporates the effects of climate change into the plot.

Meanwhile, the original focuses on two storm chasers (Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt), who are on the brink of divorce, putting themselves in the middle of a dangerous tornado in an attempt to create a new advanced weather alert system.

Another connection between the original Twister film and Twisters 2024 are the filming locations. Both movies were filmed across a variety of locations in Oklahoma.

Twister was filmed in towns Oklahoma City, Fairfax, Ralston, Maysville and Stillwater, while Twisters was also filmed in Oklahoma City in addition to Chickasha, Okarche, El Reno, Spencer and Cashion.

As the two films are chronologically linked, you technically don’t need to watch Twister before seeing Twisters.

In saying that though, it is super nostalgic to look back at the original before seeing the new story unfold.

Not only has it gone on to become a best-selling series – it’s also now being turned into a film for Netflix, with “the greatest British cast assembled since the [Harry Potter] movies!”

The one and only Steven Spielberg acquired the adaptation rights for The Thursday Murder Club back in September 2020 – the same time the novel was released. 

It was revealed that his production company Amblin Entertainment would be transforming the beloved book into a film, and Chris Columbus, who has worked on movies like Home Alone and Harry Potter, would be directing.

Since then, fans have been waiting with bated breath to find out more details, and boy-oh-boy are they in for a treat!

What is the plot of The Thursday Murder Club?

The Thursday Murder Club follows a group of four unlikely friends in a retirement village who team up to investigate unsolved murders.

“But when a brutal killing takes place on their very doorstep, the Thursday Murder Club find themselves in the middle of their first live case. Elizabeth, Joyce, Ibrahim and Ron might be pushing eighty but they still have a few tricks up their sleeves,” the synopsis reads.

The Thursday Murder Club is the first book in the series, and there are three sequel novels that have also been released: The Man Who Died Twice, The Bullet That Missed, and The Last Devil to Die.

A fifth (unnamed) book in the franchise is also currently in the works, and is set to come out in 2025.

Who has been cast in The Thursday Murder Club movie?

Prepare yourself to read one of the best ensemble casts we’ve seen in a long time.

The cast of The Thursday Murder Club will be spearheaded by Pierce Brosnan as Ron, Dame Helen Mirren as Elizabeth, Sir Ben Kingsley as Ibrahim, and Celia Imrie as Joyce.

Also appearing in the film will be Richard E. Grant, Jonathan Pryce, David Tennant, Tom Ellis, Naomi Ackie, Daniel Mays, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Geoff Bell, Paul Freeman, Sarah Niles and Ingrid Oliver.

Seven months later, Sofia spoke out about the reason for their divorce.

Sofia Vergara, 57, spoke to Spanish newspaper, El País about her relationship with fellow-actor Joe Manganiello, 47, revealing that the couple weren’t on the same page about growing a family.

“My marriage broke up because my husband was younger; he wanted to have kids and I didn’t want to be an old mom,” Sofia explained.

“I feel it’s not fair to the baby. I respect whoever does it, but that’s not for me anymore.”

Sofia already has one child who she shares with her previous husband, Joe Gonzalez, and she revealed she’s not in a place where she wants more kids.

“I had a son at 19, who is now 32, and I’m ready to be a grandmother, not a mother. So, if love comes along, he has to come with [his own] children. I’m almost in menopause; it’s the natural way of things,” she added.

“When my son becomes a dad, let him bring the baby to me for a while and then I’ll give it back to him and go on with my life; that’s what I have to do,” Sofia shared.

However, Joe has now spoken out about Sofia’s comments, and labelled them as “simply not true”.

“There’s been a lot said in the press about me wanting a family,” The actor told Men’s Journal in July 2024.

“We did try to have a family for the first year and a half. And we had a huge conversation right out of the gate during the first month we dated. I said, ‘If you’re done with kids, then I understand. Just tell me, and I’ll know what this is, and that’s OK.’

“But that wasn’t the case with her. And I swore to her that I would never leave if it didn’t work out. And I didn’t.”

Joe then admitted that he did want to have kids but that “wasn’t inevitably why everything ended. It’s because two people grew apart, and sometimes that happens.”

He continued, “To be painted as if I had some sort of midlife crisis, and after nine years, turned to somebody and gave them an ultimatum of, ‘Do this potentially unhealthy thing to your body, or else I’m gone? That’s never who I was.”

Sofia and Joe announced their divorce via a joint statement in July 2023, sharing that after seven years of marriage they were going their separate ways.

“As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect for our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives,” the statement wrote.

Two days after their announcement, Joe officially filed for divorce.

Sofia and Joe met through Sofia’s Modern Family co-star, Jesse Tyler Ferguson in May 2014. At the time, Sofia was engaged to her ex-partner, Nick Loeb.

The Princess of Wales’ long-awaited public appearance at Trooping the Colour marked the first time she had been seen in an official capacity since Christmas Day 2023, and she looked as radiant as ever at the event.

Catherine then attended the final day of Wimbledon on 14 July, where she was met with a standing ovation from spectators in the stands.

But do these appearances mark her official return to royal duties? Unfortunately, no.

Catherine is still undergoing preventative chemotherapy to treat an undisclosed form of cancer, but her attendance at the parade and tennis tournament hopefully signify her treatment is going well and she’ll be back to her regular duties relatively soon.

Whilst Kensington Palace confirmed Kate Middleton’s presence at the Trooping the Colour shortly ahead of the day, they also quickly shut down any prospects of her attending the annual Garter Day on 17 June, as well as the Royal Ascot racing carnival – an event which is traditionally attended by senior members of the royal family.

In her touching personal statement confirming her attendance at the King’s birthday parade, the Princess of Wales admitted that she still has both “good days and bad days”, which means her appearance at upcoming events will likely depend on how she feels at the time.

According to her statement, Catherine will start to do some work from home as she feels better, and she also shared her “hope to join a few public engagements over the summer” – one such event being the Wimbledon final.

The Sun have reported that the princess will start to hold meetings with palace staff as well as representatives from the Royal Foundation and the Centre for Early Childhood – both being charities she is a patron of.

A spokesperson for Catherine has also confirmed that the palace will only give updates on face-to-face work meetings when “appropriate” and relevant.

Kensington Palace has yet to confirm Kate’s next official public engagement, and well-placed sources have now told Vanity Fair that both Prince William and Princess Catherine are planning to take a “summer break” at their Norfolk property, where they can spend time with their three children.

The Princess was candid and honest about her cancer journey in her statement, admitting she is “learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this much needed time to heal.”

“With regret, Sarah, Duchess of York has decided to withdraw from the Festival of Fiction, so as not to distract or detract in any way from the tour of Australia by His Majesty the King, which has recently been announced,” a statement shared on the festival’s Instagram page wrote.

The Duchess of York was going to be attending a writer’s festival in Perth, the Festival of Fiction, which takes place on 19 October. However, this date falls exactly within the King and Queen’s upcoming tour of Australia.

As such, she postponed her trip and will instead “be returning to Perth on November 1 at 6.30pm for a special event at Joondalup Resort.”

Sarah, also known as “Fergie”, then apologised for any inconvenienced caused by the change of date.

It is likely that the 64-year-old will be speaking about her latest book, A Woman of Intrigue, at the event. The mother of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie is the author of over 55 books in total, including multiple children’s books as well as romance novels.

When announcing the news of her original visit down under in March, Sarah spoke about how her three grandchildren inspired her for the major personal trip.

Sarah, Duchess of York has two grandsons and one granddaughter: August (three), Ernest (one), and Sienna (two).

Since becoming a grandmother, Sarah has revealed she’s become “acutely aware of [her] responsibility” to improve the state of the world for future generations.

The event featured activists, world leaders, business leaders, and artists to bring awareness to these issues.

Special (in-person and virtual) attendees included other big names such as Hugh Jackman, Charlie Puth, Crowded House, Julia Gillard and Osher Günsberg, among others.

The news of Sarah’s March trip came merely weeks after she announced that she was diagnosed with malignant melanoma, a form of skin cancer, in January 2024 – less than a year after facing breast cancer.

Sarah, mother to Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, said her diagnosis was a shock but she was “in the best hands and feeling positive”.

“After undergoing a mastectomy and reconstruction, I could only hope that I was in the clear, which is why a new diagnosis of skin cancer came as a shock,” she said. “I’m now in the best hands and feeling positive with the support of my family.”

Nat Thaipun has won the title after a final high-pressure and high-intensity challenge that pushed both remaining cooks to their limits.

Judges Andy Allen, Poh Ling Yeow, Sofia Levin and Jean-Christophe Novelli were beyond impressed with the skills both Nat and runner-up Josh Perry showed, and the incredible progress they’ve shown over the course of the season.

Nat received a score of 71 points out of a possible 90, just beating Josh as he had a score of 68 out of 90.

Nat’s victory clearly meant a lot to her, as she was instantly brought to tears when it was announced she had just claimed the title as well as $250,000.

“It feels so good! It feels like a dream, but it’s not,” she said in disbelief.

It was all love between the two finalists, with both cooks sharing heartfelt and genuine tributes to one another ahead of the big day.

“My finals buddy—congrats! No matter what happens tomorrow, your growth and hunger for knowledge make you the fiercest competitor. Let’s do this!,” Nat wrote.

Meanwhile, Josh shared, “I’d like to wish [Nat] all the best in today’s cooks as I have said all along you’ve been the one to catch in this competition and I’m really proud to be here beside you. Let’s cook our hearts out and enjoy today.”

Nat had a stellar season, and was a frontrunner to win from the very start.

The 28-year-old produced some of the best dishes the judges have seen in the competition so far, and even won the first and only immunity pin early on.

Nat constantly nodded to her heritage with her Thai-inspired cooking, and created incredible dishes packed full of flavour, creativity and technicality.

“It’s a proud moment when a judge tells me they’ve never eaten it before. That’s what I’m aiming for: to showcase Thai foods and dishes that people have never seen, because they’re so good,” she previously told TV Week.

But she wasn’t just a frontrunner in the judges eyes, but in fans’ eyes too.

The Victorian local was tipped to win the competition from the very start, with viewers taking to the popular betting site Sportsbet to share their predictions.

She remained in first place from the first episode right up until the finale.

Runner-up Josh “Pezza” Perry was also beloved by fans from the very start of the season thanks to his lovable personality and simplistic approach to cooking.

His philosophy was to create simple dishes that were executed well, and he was often inspired by the women in his family, which really resonated with viewers.

The final two contestants have finally been revealed for the 2024 season of MasterChef Australia! Nat Thaiipun and Josh Perry will be vying for the crown in the finale.

Since the very beginning of the season, fans have believed that Nat is the most likely to win MasterChef thanks to her odds on Sportsbet which sit at $1.33.

Nat has consistently proven herself to be one of this year’s top competitors, having wowed the judges multiple times with her intricate, creative, and technical dishes.

Following behind Nat in second place is Josh P who has odds of $4.33. The Tasmanian butcher has become a fan-favourite contestant thanks to his lovable personality.

Josh has proven himself as a real threat time and time again this season, and has given everything a crack. He loves making simple food that’s executed to perfection.

The 43-year-old has stayed true to his roots and always draws on inspiration from the cooks in his life, including his mum, aunty and grandmother.

Sportsbet has made accurate predictions in the past, including for recent reality shows.

The final three cooks put everything on the line in a final high-intensity service challenge, in the hopes of making it to the final two.

Sadly for Sav, the judges weren’t as impressed with her dishes as they were the other contestants, and she was sent home.

“There’s always that disappointment because you want to get to the end but, after that cook, I felt a sense of relief,” Sav told 10Play following her elimination.

Harry Butterfield

29, QLD, Commercial Property

The final elimination challenge before the final three saw Harry’s food hero Josh Nilard enter the MasterChef kitchen, and challenge the remaining contestants to recreate an intricate seafood dish.

As the self-proclaimed ‘seafood guy’, Harry really felt the pressure to impress his hero as well as prove himself as a strong seafood cook.

Unfortunately, as Harry told 10Play, he “wasn’t trying to do [his] best, [he] was trying to be perfect,” and he was eliminated after he misinterpreted the instructions.

Mimi Wong

25, NSW, High School Teacher

As the competition had reached an all-important milestone – the top five – the remaining cooks were pushed to their limits in one of the toughest challenges yet this season.

The judges revealed five ingredients with extremely strong and distinct flavours, and tasked the contestants to create a dish that balanced one of them.

Mimi chose to utilise a bitter gouda, but she encountered some obstacles throughout the cook that meant one of the main elements of the dish, her brioche buns, were unusable.

This meant the dish wasn’t balanced and she was sent home.

Darrsh Clarke

31, WA, Management Consultant

Chef Guillaume Brahimi challenged the remaining contestants to a gruelling task: making five finished dishes.

Though he powered through the recipe early on, in doing so Darrsh sacrificed flavour and attention to detail.

The 31-year-old’s plating was inconsistent, and there was shell in his crab meat, so he was sadly eliminated.

Lachlan Whittle

34, VIC, Landscape Gardener

MasterChef’s infamous and iconic Time Auction challenge is always a difficult task for the contestants, and this year was no different.

The cooks were given 120 minutes of cooking time to bid in exchange for ingredients, and though Lachlan’s lamb kofta dish was executed really well, the judges thought it lacked cohesion and he was sent home.

“It’s a good dish but the real fault is that they don’t go together,” Andy Allen shared.

Sumeet Saigal

46, NSW, Sales Manager

The contestants were tasked with reimagining the classic ‘bacon and eggs’ in a surprise elimination challenge, but unfortunately Sumeet struggled to execute her dish.

Her breakfast naan was inconsistent and she was eliminated. 

“When they revealed that it was my time to go, the most pronounced emotion that I felt was gratefulness. That’s the honest truth,” Sumeet shared following her elimination.

Alex Crisp

27, WA, Sales Representative

After winning immunity in the first round of Sweet Week, Alex didn’t have to cook again as she was safe in the competition. But she admitted that this may have contributed to her detriment.

“As much as it was cool to take a step back and not have to be under pressure every single day, it kind of played to my detriment because for so long you’re in this routine of constant pressure and stress,” she told 10 Play.

So when the contestants were tasked with replicating a technically challenging dessert with over 100 steps created by chef Hugh Allen, she struggled to perform and was sent home.

Gillian Dinh

31, NSW, Lettering Artist

Although she was so close to gaining immunity all throughout Sweet Week, Gillian found herself in the elimination challenge where she struggled due to her needing to include coffee in her dish – a flavour she’s not a huge fan of.

“It was like being slapped in the face from the start of Sweet Week to then, here you go! Here’s an ingredient that you don’t drink and never loved eating, trying, consuming,” she told 10Play.

The 31-year-old was ultimately eliminated as her dessert was over-baked.

Josh Clarke

27, QLD, Coffee Roaster

A plant-based challenge pushed the contestants to create a dish without any animal products, while still celebrating meat.

Josh C attempted to create a classic steak and jus dish using just carrots, however his reimagination fell short and he was eliminated from the MasterChef kitchen.

“Honestly, this was probably my least favourite challenge of all the challenges up until this point,” Josh told 10 Play.

Sue Bazely

58, VIC, Customer Manager

The contestants were treated to an appearance from another guest judge, this time Australian celebrity chef Curtis Stone.

The cooks were challenged to keep up with Curtis in a brutal challenge and from the get-go, Sue struggled.

Sadly there were too many elements with issues in her dish, and she was sent home.

David Tan

30, QLD, Pharmacologist

Guest judge, celebrity chef Rick Stein, challenged the contestants to create a dish that heroed raw seafood. Having never prepared raw fish before, David admitted he was nervous.

His tuna dish with raspberries and apple puree was labelled too imbalanced by the judges, which meant he had to cook again in round two. David’s smoked salmon with couscous and fennel salads was the weakest dish and he sadly left the competition.

Savindri Perera

30, SA, Banking Consultant

A gruelling four-hour pressure test pushed the contestants to their limits, and they had to recreate an extremely technical and intricate dish by Darren Purchese.

Fan-favourite Savindri had a chaotic experience in the kitchen and she wasn’t feeling confident when she plated her dish in front of the judges.

Sav was ultimately eliminated due to her brownie being dry, and her cheesecake lacking balance.

However, in a MasterChef twist the previously eliminated contestants were given the opportunity to win back their spot in the competition. Savindri’s dish was deemed the best and she re-entered the MasterChef kitchen.

Stephen Dennis

62, QLD, Tour Guide

All of the remaining contestants partook in an elimination challenge where the judges gave the cooks a seemingly simple task: creating a dish that featured egg in an interesting way.

Unfortunately for 62-year-old Stephen, his dish didn’t come together quite as he had imagined and he was sent home.

“Going into the challenge I wasn’t worried at all, but as I went through I started having cracks come apart and I suddenly realised I wasn’t working as well as I normally do. I wasn’t as calm as I normally was,” Stephen said after his elimination.

Snezana Calic

40, VIC, Financial Services

Special guest Anna Polyviou, “the punk dessert” icon, challenged contestants to recreate an original dessert she crafted just for this challenge.

The dish was extremely intricate, and no element tasted like what it appeared to be.

Snezana struggled throughout the cook, with multiple elements needing to be remade, and although she managed to plate her dish in a way that looked identical to Anna’s, the flavours weren’t well-balanced and she was eliminated.

Juan De La Cruz Torales Villarreal

39, NSW, Board Game Designer

Last night, the cooks were put to the test during a gruelling two-round elimination.

In the first round, Juan De La Cruz got overwhelmed by the challenge and wrongly assumed his dish needed to be inspired by guest-judge Luke Nguyen’s love of Vietnamese food. The dish was not his best and in the second round he returned to his Argentinian roots and made empanadas.

Unfortunately, the flavours were lacking and his time in the competition came to an end.

Lourdes Leschen

22, VIC, Marketing Coordinator

In a tough elimination challenge, four contestants had to recreate a challenging and intricate dish.

Unfortunately for Lourdes, the youngest cook in the competition, her egg yolk and sauce were both overcooked which disrupted the balance of the dish.

The 22-year-old was sent home after the judges decided her dish was the least like the original.

Lily Davies

30, NSW, Former Nurse

A classic MasterChef challenge, the blind taste test, had the contestants relying on only their senses of taste and smell to try and identify ingredients.

Lily was named in the bottom six after struggling to correctly name enough ingredients and had to cook a dish using only the ingredients from the first round where she struggled to come up with a dish concept.

The 30-year-old former nurse said she felt “really deflated” going into the cook and was ultimately eliminated after she was deemed to have had the weakest dish. Lily revealed she had a “gut instinct” that she was going home.

Khristian Walker

26, VIC, Insurance Services

After being named in the bottom four, Khristian had to participate in this season’s first Pressure Test cookoff where he was tasked with recreating one of Jean-Christophe Novelli’s most intricate dishes.

Unfortunately for the 26-year-old, nothing really seemed to go his way during the cook, and he was sent home after the judges decided there were too many elements that weren’t up to par.

Jonathan Hooper

29, NSW, Carpenter

29-year-old Jonathan was eliminated after failing to impress the judges with his iteration of one of judge Andy Allen’s mum’s favourite dishes.

The carpenter had a bit of a mishap in round one where his cheesecake stuck to the pan and the judges struggled to get it out and he had to cook again in round two.

In the end, Sofia said the elements of his pappardelle pasta felt “clumsy” and the judges deemed he had the weakest dish so he was sent home.

Steph Griffen

28, QLD, Events Manager

After a tough challenge where the contestants had to recreate one of Jamie Oliver’s dishes alongside him, Steph was sadly sent home.

The 28-year-old’s dish had some inconsistencies and her chicken was overcooked, and unfortunately that meant she was eliminated.

James Holmes

38, WA, Primary School Teacher

James was the first contestant eliminated from MasterChef this season.

The 38-year-old from Western Australia failed to impress the judges with his squid dish which was undercooked and had conflicting flavours.

Poh described it as “one of the least impressive dishes” of the night, and with the other judges agreeing, he was sent home.

Buckingham Palace confirmed on July 14, 2024 that the King and Queen will be visiting Australia this year.

“The King has shown his compassion for Australians affected by recent natural disasters, just as Australians have shown compassion and support for the King following his cancer diagnosis,” Anthony Albanese said of the royal’s trip.

“The King, Queen and members of the Royal Family are always welcome in Australia. My Government is engaging with States and Territories on options for a possible Royal visit.”

Initially, Charles and Camilla were set to tour Australia as part of a long-haul trip, with visits to neighbouring countries including New Zealand.

However, amid fears that the King is doing too much, their visit to New Zealand has been scrapped. A source told The Daily Mirror: “Naturally, it will be a bitter disappointment on both sides to not have the opportunity for the King and Queen to visit New Zealand.

“But all are aware of the King’s ongoing health issues and the need for him to pace himself. It’s very much hoped there will be further opportunities in the future.”

Insiders reveal that the Australian leg of the tour will now be reduced to just six days, with Charles and Camilla taking a two-day break before travelling to Samoa for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.

A government spokesman told The Australian newspaper that “the Prime Minister enjoys a warm relationship with the King and looks forward to welcoming His Majesty to Australia later this year”.

In a new book based on King Charles, the author, Robert Hardman explained that he believes the King has a loving relationship with Australia after he spent time here during his schooldays.

King Charles’ visit to Australia will be his first since becoming King, and will be the first visit to Australia by a ruling British monarch since Elizabeth II visited in October 2011.

The royal tour will coincide with the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Samoa, at which both Charles and Camilla are expected to attend.

Taking place from 21 to 25 October in 2024, the CHOGM occurs every two years and features leaders from the 56 Commonwealth member nations.

The last time the British royals visited Australia was in April 2018, when they represented Queen Elizabeth at the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast, and opened the ceremony.

The late Queen Elizabeth II visited Australia 16 times over the course of her reign, each time accompanied by her husband, Prince Philip who sadly passed away April 2021. Her first visit to Australia as Monarch was in 1954, with her final trip being in October 2011. 

It is a significant event for King Charles as it marks his first royal tour of Australia since becoming the reigning monarch, and will be the first time for the Australian people to see their new King.

Since becoming King and Queen, Charles and Camilla have completed state visits to Germany, France and Kenya, and have hosted leaders from around the world.

In May 2023, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese met with King Charles at Buckingham Palace ahead of the King’s coronation.

She was spending so much time at the office that she barely saw Novak, who at the time was working his way up in the tennis world.

“At a certain point, Novak told me, ‘Darling, we cannot go on like this,'” she told PEOPLE.

Jelena eventually left the job and became the National Director of the Novak Djokovic Foundation (NDF), which she co-founded with his family in 2007.

The couple were engaged in September 2013 after eight years of dating, and tied the knot on 10 July 2014 in a beautiful ceremony on Sveti Stefan in Montenegro. At the time of their wedding, Jelena was pregnant with their first child.

“Seeing her for the first time in her wedding dress, smiling and walking towards me… She looked like an angel,” Novak said. “I was trying to be present in that moment and memorise it. I was focused on her, and her smile, and our baby. It really was a perfect moment.”

Jelena felt similarly, saying of their wedding, “I was very nervous and everything seemed a blur. I was seeing him through tears and immediately started crying when I saw him. I was just so happy and probably being pregnant makes it quite difficult to control the emotions. I am so blessed to have him in my life. I couldn’t ask for a better partner than him.”

Novak and Jelena have since welcomed two children together, one son and one daughter.

Their son Stefan was born in October 2014, and they welcomed their daughter Tara in September 2017.

Jelena has been Novak’s biggest supporter over the course of his tennis career, and she has seen him achieve so much success in the sport.

“Whether I’m winning or losing, she’s always there. Family’s always there. When I go back home, I’m not a tennis player anymore. I’m a father and a husband,” Novak said years ago. 

“That’s a kind of balance that I think allows me to play this well. Ever since I got married and became a father, I haven’t lost many matches, I won many tournaments. I suggest that to every player, ‘Get married, have kids, let’s enjoy this.'”

Jelena can almost always be seen in Novak’s player box, cheering him on courtside, and nowadays she is the global CEO of NDF as well as the director of online blog Original Magazine.

The 27-year-old has given his all over the past four years, and after a devastatingly unsuccessful campaign at the Olympic qualifying trials, it appears Cody has now called time on his swimming career.

Taking to Instagram on 17 June, just two days after the 2024 Australian Olympic swim team was announced, Cody uploaded a photo of his national swimming pendant alongside a touching personal message.

“All you can do is everything you can to take what you’ve been given as far as you can take it. You owe yourself the honour of cultivating your talents with as much fervour and intensity as you can. The privilege of becoming what you’re capable of becoming.

“I left nothing to the unknown these past 4 years and I can now rest knowing I put my pedal to the floor every day and covered every other little detail to take this as far it could go and it sure went a hell of a ways. I made sure I was a gangster in my training, meticulous in my preparation and fearless in my competing every step of the way. 

“I’m grateful for a huge run in the short amount of time I have been a professional athlete and I wouldn’t trade a moment. I promise I will never stop trying to do special things with my life. Shoot for the moon.. land among the stars. My shot has landed me in a constellation of stars otherwise known as that elusive club, the Australian Swim Team, forever. Thank you swimming.”

He signed off the message with “Australian Dolphin #838”.

The 27-year-old also uploaded a follow-up post almost a month later, confirming the news of his retirement.

“Hell of a ride. I had a personal theory and wanted to see if, with sheer grit and determination, it would prove. It did. So that’s me for now,” he wrote.

“Thank you Australia for supporting me every step. To my coaches and support staff. To my family and loved ones. […] And finally, to the sport of swimming for saving my life, and making me who I am.”

Friends, fans, fellow swimmers and other celebrities took to the comment section to congratulate Cody on his hard work and determination over the past few years.

“Your commitment to the dream was awe inspiring, thank you for taking us all along on the journey ,” former Olympic swimmer Giaan Rooney shared.

Meanwhile, Channel Nine presenters Karl Stefanovic and Richard Wilkins also left messages of support, with Karl saying, “Very proud of you Cody. You absolutely committed. Extraordinary strength of character. ”.

Richard simply wrote, “#champion ”.

Cody’s girlfriend Emma McKeon commented, “Absolutely incredible, you left no stone unturned I love you”, while Olympic swimming legend Libby Trickett wrote, “

“Huge. What an incredible adventure. On to the next one .”

Though Cody was an extremely talented junior swimmer, when his music career took off at the age of just 13, his swimming aspirations took a backseat.

It was only in 2019 that the singer decided to turn his focus back onto competitive swimming, with the goal of making the Olympic Games.

The 27-year-old has seen some success in the sport, namely attending the 2022 Commonwealth Games where he received a medal as a heat swimmer in the 4×100 metre freestyle relay team.

Not only that, but Cody also has swimming to thank for his long-time partner, fellow swimmer Emma McKeon.

Now that he has hung up his goggles, Cody has alluded to returning his focus onto his music.

“The discipline and resilience and perseverance that swimming has again instilled in me is something that I’m really excited to implement in my future endeavours because it has just helped me grow so much.

“And how I can take that back into music and entertainment and see what I can do — there’s some exciting projects lined up for after this that I was going to go back and do regardless of how this week went,” he shared following the swimming trials.

The Dead To Me actress was first diagnosed with MS in August 2021, and has since revealed the struggles that come along with the disease affecting the central nervous system.

Announcing her MS diagnosis in 2021, Christina Applegate wrote, “Hi friends. A few months ago I was diagnosed with MS.”

“It’s been a strange journey. But I have been so supported by people that I know who also have this condition,” she continued.

“It’s been a tough road. But as we all know, the road keeps going. Unless some a***hole blocks it.”

Most recently, the star admitted that she is struggling with depression as a result of her MS, which has heartbreakingly impacted her will to live.

“Like a real, f**k-it-all depression where it’s kind of scaring me, too, a little bit because it feels really fatalistic. I’m trapped in, like, this darkness right now that I haven’t felt [in], like, I don’t even know how long, probably 20-something years,” she said on an episode of her podcast, MeSsy.

“This is being really honest … I don’t enjoy living,” she candidly shared. “I don’t enjoy it. I don’t enjoy things anymore.”

The Married… with Children actress has faced several health concerns throughout her life, including a breast cancer diagnosis in 2008 followed by a double mastectomy.

Christina also had her ovaries and fallopian tubes precautionarily removed in 2017 as she has a genetically heightened risk of developing cancer.

The 52-year-old also endured surgery-induced menopause in 2018, and has had a long battle with insomnia.

Christina spoke to PEOPLE in 2018, revealing she felt a responsibility to fans to be open about her health.

“If you do have a voice to do it, which we [as actors] are fortunate to have this platform to be like, ‘I am just like you, I can’t sleep, I feel like crap a lot of the time because of this, but I want you to feel okay with it and not feel shame about it and get information about it so that you can have a better quality of life,’ […] and same goes for my battle with cancer.”

The actress also revealed she has started writing a memoir about her childhood in Hollywood, as well as her complex health journey so far.

Selma Blair, another actress who has heartbreakingly been diagnosed with MS, sent a touching message to Christina after her own diagnosis.

“Loving you always. Always here. As are our kids,” Selma wrote in a tweet.

The former Sweetest Thing co-stars have been each other’s support systems over the past few years.

“If you need something she’s at your house. There have been things that I had been unglued, and she’s like, ‘I’m outside. Answer the door.’ She’s just amazing and strong and fun,” Selma said of Christina.

Christina attended the 75th Emmy Awards in January 2024, where she received a standing ovation as she walked on stage before announcing the winner of the Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.

It was a surprise appearance from Christina as she previously stated that she expected her last appearance at an awards show as an actor would be at the 2023 Screen Actors Guild Awards.

The Emmy award-winning actress was received so warmly by the audience that she got emotional.

“”Thank you so much! Oh my God! You’re totally shaming me [and my] disability by standing up,” Christina said, generating laughter from the audience.

“Some of you may know me as Kelly Bundy from Married… with Children,” Christina said before running through some of her most popular characters from her career.

Christina has also spoken about the future of her acting career, telling Variety in 2022, “It’s about finding what I’m capable of doing.”

“I’m so new in this right now. It takes time to kind of figure out this disease, and figure out what’s bringing on symptoms. I’m just a newbie to all of this. So I’m trying to figure it out — and I’m also in mourning for the person who I was. I have to find a place that’s as loving as my set was, where they won’t think I’m a diva by saying, ‘Hey, I can only work five hours.'”

Speaking with Vanity Fair in May 2023, Christina shared that she doesn’t think she’ll work as an actress again, after most recently starring in Dead To Me‘s third and final season.

“Right now, I couldn’t imagine getting up at 5 a.m. and spending 12 to 14 hours on a set; I don’t have that in me at this moment,” she told the Los Angeles Times in 2023.

Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern, Sam Neill, Chris Pratt, and Bryce Dallas Howard are just a few of the names who have appeared in the franchise – so far.

Now, the story is being continued with another star-studded cast set to hit our screens in July 2025 in Jurassic World 4.

Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, and Mahershala Ali have all been confirmed to be joining the latest instalment in the beloved franchise. 

Original cast-member Jeff Goldblum – aka Dr. Ian Malcolm – officially welcomed Scarlett Johansson, 39, to the Jurassic Park family in a touching message in July.

“Dr Johansson, this is Jeff Goldblum,” he began in a video message shown to Johansson during her interview on Today.

“Here’s what I want to say to you. This I know: Scarlett will find a way,” he said, in reference to one of Jurassic Park’s most iconic lines.

“Don’t get eaten, unless you want to. I love you.”

Johansson, who’ll be portraying the lead character in the currently untitled fourth Jurassic World film, was beyond excited after watching the video message.

“Oh my God, I can t believe Jeff said that to me. I think my life is complete now. I can retire,” she said.

The 39-year-old also described the script for the upcoming movie as “so incredible”.

“I am an enormous Jurassic Park fan. It is one of the first movies I remember seeing in theatres,” she told ComicBook.com.

“I remember it so vividly. It was life-changing and mind blowing. I cannot express how excited I am.”

Details remain limited as to what viewers can expect to see in Jurassic World 4, but it’s been confirmed that development is well under way.

It has been reported that the upcoming film will be an entirely new story that’s separate from the previous Jurassic World trilogy.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, revealed the launch of a new lifestyle brand called American Riviera Orchard.

A new website and Instagram page also went live for Meghan Markle’s new project ahead of the announcement.

The bio for the American Riviera Orchard Instagram page simply reads, “By Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex. Established 2024,” and we haven’t been given too many details about the brand as of yet. 

At the time, the Instagram account uploaded a story of the Duchess of Sussex picking flowers and cooking in a kitchen, hinting at the type of the project this will be.

The name of the new brand, American Riviera Orchard, seems to be a reference to Meghan and her husband Prince Harry’s current place of residence: Santa Barbara in California.

According to Travel & Leisure, for more than 100 years Santa Barbara has been known as the American Riviera “because of its temperate climate and lush landscapes, as well as its robust food and wine culture.”

The logo for the brand also includes the word Montecito, which is the specific neighbourhood in which the Sussexes live.

A trademark application for the American Riviera Orchard brand reveals that the lifestyle business intends to sell tableware, drinkware, kitchen linens, edible treats such as jellies, jams, marmalade and spreads, and cookbooks.

It seems her range is already expanding, despite the business not having officially launched yet, as the Duchess of Sussex has continued to pursue trademarks for more products.

There have been additional trademark applications for cosmetic products, home home décor, stationery, linens, kitchen appliances, condiments, yoga equipment, gardening gear and pet accessories.

Not only that, but the 42-year-old also sent some of her homemade jam to close friends and fellow celebrities. The recipients included the likes of Kris Jenner, Tracee Ellis Ross, Mindy Kaling, Chrissy Teigen, and Meghan’s Suits co-star Abigail Spencer.

A source told Us Weekly that the Duchess is “very pleased” with the strong start American Riviera Orchard has had so far.

“The rollout for American Riviera Orchard is already off to a strong start. The website has over 100,000 who have signed up to hear about the first products launched,” an insider shared. “Meghan is very pleased with the early interest it has gained.”

The brand also appears to be similar to Meghan’s previous lifestyle blog, The Tig, which was used from 2014 to 2017.

On The Tig, Meghan shared insights into her favourite foods, travel discoveries and personal reflections. 

“I’ve never been the type of person to do only one thing. I guess that’s how my website was born,” Meghan said in her 2022 documentary Harry & Meghan. 

“There was fashion, there was tons of food, and travel, so it was all of the things that I loved. And The Tig wasn’t just a hobby. It became a really successful business.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are no strangers to starting new businesses, as they have embarked on numerous ventures over the past few years.

Meghan launched a podcast named Archetypes and also invested in an oat milk coffee company. Meanwhile, Prince Harry released his memoir, Spare, in 2023.

The couple have also made deals with Netflix, releasing a docuseries about themselves in 2022 and will also be producing a number of projects for the streaming giant too. Two of these non-fiction series have reportedly already wrapped production, with Meghan appearing in a cooking show and Prince Harry in a docuseries about his beloved sport of polo.

Additionally, the pair have continually worked on their non-profit organisation, the Archewell Foundation, for many years.

The launch of the American Riviera Orchard Instagram page marks the first time either of the Sussexes have used social media since 2020 when the pair made their last update to their @SussexRoyal Instagram page after stepping back as working members of the royal family.

Not only did his career and professional life kick off, but the win also forged a path for the now-MasterChef judge to meet his future wife.

Alex Davey didn’t watch the show and had no idea who Andy was when they first met. 

“When we met, she had no idea who I was,” Andy told TV WEEK in an exclusive interview. “We were both at a party just after I won and a few people were talking about it. She kept saying, ‘You won MasterChef?’ She thought it was a joke.”

While they didn’t start dating immediately after meeting, the former electrician from Newcastle said he never forgot about Alex. When their paths crossed again years later, the pair entered a relationship together.

Four years later, the couple realised they were ready to spend forever together and Andy popped the question in New Zealand.

Andy spilled details about his proposal to Alex with TV WEEK, sharing that the experience didn’t quite go to plan.

“I drove down to what I was told was a nice secluded beach,” Andy explained. 

“But when we got there, there were more than 300 people on the beach, and the only free spot I could find was next to a couple of 16-year-olds violently pashing. It was the least romantic spot ever!”

Andy spotted a nearby headland and asked Alex to take a walk with him. Once they were finally alone, he got down on one knee.

“She was so shocked, she basically collapsed on my shoulder,” Andy recalled. “I pretty much had to ask her if it was a ‘yes’. She was very shocked.”

The couple officially tied the knot in October 2022 in a gorgeous ceremony at Terrara House in southern New South Wales.

After they said ‘I do’, Andy and Alex enjoyed a honeymoon in New Zealand, and have since continued to travel the world together. 

And while they’ve seemingly enjoyed countless good times together, their relationship hasn’t been without its challenges.

Due to the nature of Andy’s job as a judge on MasterChef, the couple have endured multiple stints of long-distance during their relationship.

“Alex is in Sydney and I’m in Melbourne for filming, so we had to talk about how we would make long distance work,” Andy told TV WEEK in 2020. 

“But we were both so excited about the opportunity that we knew we could get through anything together.”

Former MasterChef judge Matt Preston was the one to give Andy advice about juggling work and prioritising his relationship.

“We met up earlier in the year and he said I have to make time for my relationship,” Andy said.

“He said it can be hard with filming, and to make sure I set aside days to have a long weekend with Alex and time away from the set.”

Now, the pair are living together under one roof, having moved to a home in Carlton in Melbourne.

“I always knew Alex and I were going to be together forever and it’s so nice for us to be finally living in the same location, and to actually have a home we can come to that’s just ours,” Andy said to The Australian Women’s Weekly. 

“Neither of us thought anything would change after we married, but there’s definitely a deeper sense of being a family and building a life together,” Alex added.

Tennis is one of those sports that never fails to capture the nation, and the Australian Open grand slam tournament in January every year always has Australia on the edge of their seats.

With the Paris Olympics mere weeks away, viewers are already interested in who will be representing their country in tennis. 

In 2024, Australia will have nine tennis players competing at the Olympics – five men and four women.

The men include the top Australian men’s tennis player, Alex de Minaur, as well as Alexei Popyrin, John Peers, Matt Ebden and Rinky Hijikata.

Competing in singles will be De Minaur, who is currently ranked ninth in the world, Popyrin who is 47th, and Hijikata who is 75th.

Meanwhile, Matt Ebden is currently the highest ranked doubles player, and he’ll be joined by Peers who is 41st. De Minaur and Popyrin will make the second Aussie men’s doubles pairing.

Many will be making their Olympic debut in 2024, including De Minaur, Popyrin, Ebden and Hijikata. Alex De Minaur missed out on the 2020 games due to COVID-19.

As for the women, Ajla Tomlanovic, Daria Saville, Ellen Perez and Olivia Gadecki will be competing.

Saville is currently Australia’s top women’s tennis player, and she is 84th in the world.

Behind her is Gadecki who is 177th, and Tomljanovic who is 190th.

As for doubles, Perez is currently 9th in the world, while Gadecki is 77th.

Tomlanovic will be the only Australian tennis player in the women’s singles at the upcoming Olympics, and she’ll also join forces with Gadecki in doubles.

Meanwhile, Saville and Perez will also be competing together in doubles.

Australia has been relatively successful in tennis at Olympic level, winning six medals in total. The most recent medal was won at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, with Ash Barty and John Peers taking home a bronze medal in the mixed doubles.

Meanwhile, Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde remain the only Australian tennis players to win a gold medal at the Olympics. They achieved this in the men’s doubles at the 1996 Atlanta games.

Now, more than 18 years after it hit screens, it’s been revealed that a sequel is officially in the works! Plus, original cast members are rumoured to be returning…

According to Puck News, a sequel to The Devil Wears Prada is in the early stages of development at Disney.

Whilst there hasn’t been confirmation about who of the original cast will be reprising their roles in the upcoming film, reports allege that Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt will be joining the project.

The news of the sequel comes after a 2022 interview with Anne Hathaway where she told The View that she didn’t think it would be possible. 

“I don’t know if there can be [a sequel],” she said. “I just think that movie was in a different era. Now everything’s gone so digital and that movie is centred around the concept of producing a physical thing and it’s just, it’s just very different.”

The original The Devil Wears Prada film was a huge success, both at the box office and on the awards circuit. The movie grossed US$326.7 million worldwide, as well as earned leading actress Meryl Streep, a.k.a Miranda Priestly, a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award nomination. 

The film is based on a 2003 novel of the same name by Lauren Weisberger, and follows Andy Sachs, a young woman who moves to New York City to become a writer, but instead finds herself as an assistant to the “tyrannical editor-in-chief of a major fashion magazine”, Runway. 

The Devil Wears Prada became a cult classic, and in the years following its release, fans have wondered and speculated about a potential sequel. 

The three main actresses, Streep, Hathaway and Blunt, have also kept the film in the public eye, even recently appearing on stage at the 2024 SAG Awards in February, where they performed a short skit in reference to their characters.

Variety allege that the storyline for the sequel will follow “[Miranda] Priestly as she navigates her career amid the decline of traditional magazine publishing and faces off against Blunt’s character, now a high-powered executive for a luxury group with advertising dollars that Priestly desperately needs.”

The script is being written by Aline Brosh McKenna, who was the screenwriter of the original film as well as countless other blockbusters such as 27 Dresses, Laws of Attraction and Morning Glory.

In addition, the film’s original director, David Frankel, and original producer, Wendy Finerman, are also in talks to return for the highly anticipated second instalment.

To refresh your memory, the original cast also featured Stanley Tucci, Simon Baker, Adrian Grenier, Gisele Bundchen, Tracie Thoms, Rich Sommers and Daniel Sunjata.

So, who will we see return for the highly anticipated sequel? Only time will tell…

The release date of Morning Wars season four has not yet been revealed by Apple TV+, however it has been confirmed that the show has begun production.

Now, the all-important cause will be shown in a new light thanks to an upcoming documentary that will feature the Prince of Wales, 42.

The upcoming docuseries, titled Prince William: We Can End Homelessness, will showcase the first of the five-year Homewards program initiative. It’s set to be released on ITV1 and ITVX in the coming months.

Audiences will see Prince William launch the initiative in the United Kingdom and capture the raw, authentic and vulnerable stories of individuals facing homelessness, as well as those who have experienced it at some point in their lives.

The docuseries will also acknowledge and highlight the individuals and organisations who have committed to advocating for the homeless, as well as combating the issue.

We Can End Homelessness will be directed by BAFTA Award-winner Leo Burley who stated,  “Over the past year we have spent time following Prince William and The Royal Foundation through the first year of the Homewards program. We’ve heard some incredibly moving stories from people across the country facing homelessness.

“From street homelessness in Newport, to families living in temporary accommodation in Sheffield, and youth homelessness in Aberdeen, the documentary paints a picture of homelessness across the UK today, working with many people who never expected to experience life without a place to call home.

“Everyone we’ve filmed with has welcomed the spotlight that Prince William and Homewards are placing on the UK’s homelessness crisis.”

Homewards was founded in June 2023 by Prince William and The Royal Foundation, with the goal of making homelessness “rare, brief and unrepeated” within the next five years.

They also aim to raise awareness, inspire optimism, work locally, and provide unprecedented support to those experiencing homelessness.

The Prince of Wales has spoken about how the topic has become an important one even within his own household, and he often has open conversations with his children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis about homelessness.

“On the school run, we talk about what we see. Driving backwards and forwards [in London], we regularly used to see people sitting outside supermarkets and we’d talk about it,” William told The Sunday Times.

The prince also added that he believes the discussions are important for his family. “I think it’s in all our interests, it’s the right thing to do, to expose the children, at the right stage, in the right dialogue, so they have an understanding.”

“They [will] grow up knowing that actually, some of us are very fortunate, some of us need a helping hand, some of us need to do more and help others improve their lives,” he said.

From a young age, Prince William’s late mother, Princess Diana made a point of teaching her sons about life outside of the royal family, and instilled in them many charitable and selfless values and beliefs that both William and his brother Prince Harry still uphold everyday in their line of work.

Diana believed in compassion and empathy and often visited homeless shelters along with her boys, which made a lasting impression on them.

It’s likely that the Homewards project was fuelled by William’s desire to make positive change in the world, just like his mother.

The news comes merely months following Peter’s split from his previous partner Lindsay Wallace, with the pair’s separation announced in early April.

Currently ranked number 13 in the world, Taylor Fritz, 26, has been taking the tennis world by storm over the past few years with his girlfriend, Morgan Riddle, 26, by his side.

Not only has Taylor become renowned on the court, he’s also featured on screen as he appeared in the Netflix documentary, Break Point.

Break Point followed Taylor and other professional tennis players, including Aussies Nick Kyrgios, Thanasi Kokkinakis and Ajla Tomljanović, while they competed at the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments.

Morgan Riddle also featured in Break Point, and has been supporting Taylor in his tennis journey since they first started dating in 2020. The pair met on a private dating app, Raya.

Since she first came onto the scene, Morgan has taken the tennis world by storm in her own right.

Morgan is an American influencer documenting her experiences travelling the world to support Taylor at a variety of tennis events. She uploads videos and photos of her fashion and beauty choices to don at Taylor’s games, and always looks beyond stylish.

Morgan says herself that she’s on a mission to “make tennis cool again”, and we’re so on board with that.

Growing up in Minnesota in the US, Morgan revealed that tennis was never a part of her life when she was younger.

Morgan also joked about not being into sports, saying “I personally was more into theatre and speech and debate, not athletic at all.”

Morgan also spoke to PEOPLE about growing up in a lower middle-class environment, and how she used to dream about getting to travel the world one day, but never thought it was possible.

“I was one of those girls that was obsessed with the Bali travel videos. But I grew up from a much more low middle-class background in Minnesota that just wasn’t accessible to me ever. I never really believed that I would be able to see the world in that way,” she explained.

Now, she’s well and truly living the globe-trotter lifestyle we’re all envious of.

Speaking with PEOPLE, Morgan also explained how she and Taylor make their relationship work while being on the road so much.

“We travel so well together, which people always ask me, ‘How do you guys spend that much time in a hotel room together without wanting to rip each other’s heads off?’ But we get along really well, which is why I think we’ve been able to make it work the last couple years.”

She also spoke about how they’ve been able to find personal time and a balance within the relationship, explaining, “Both of us are very focused on what we’re doing. […] We’re very much immersed in each other, but also have our own things going on no matter where we are.”

The pair were in Australia while Taylor competed in the Australian Open, and the couple made a bet that if Taylor beat Stefanos Tsitsipas in their round four match-up, Morgan would have to eat a whole jar of Vegemite.

Well, Taylor succeeded and defeated the world number seven, so Morgan took to Instagram to uphold her end of the deal.

After eating a spoonful of the iconic Aussie spread, Morgan gagged and said, “That was disgusting. Nope, nope.”

It’s safe to say Morgan didn’t quite finish the whole jar, but we love that she gave it a go anyway.

Prince Harry, 39, and Meghan Markle’s, 42, company Archewell Productions have created two non-fiction television shows that have just wrapped production.

One of the series has been created by Meghan Markle, with her also acting as an executive producer, will “celebrate the joys of cooking and gardening, entertaining and friendship.”

From royalty to recipes, Meghan Markle will soon be returning to our screens with a new cooking show. The series, is reportedly part of the eye-watering nearly AU$150 million Netflix deal she and Harry signed after they exited Royal life.

It is no secret the Duchess of Sussexes passions lay in the kitchen with her former personal blog, The Tig, well documenting her love of food.

The Duchess of Sussex also has a new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, which focuses on food and food-related products including preserved spreads, kitchenware and cookbooks.

While the show’s title has yet to be released, according to The Daily Beast, “all went well” on the project and “it is in the can.”

Meghan herself has kept her lips sealed on the project. But we can’t help but wonder if Harry, Archie and Lilibet will make an appearance. The couple’s children were seen in their Harry & Meghan docuseries, so it’s a definite possibility.

And as a ‘celebration of friendship’, it’s likely we’ll see some star-studded guest appearances across the series. On Meghan’s Archetypes podcast, she spoke with celebs like Serena Williams and Mariah Carey. And her inner circle reportedly includes friends like Amal Clooney and Chrissy Teigen.

Meanwhile, the other series the Sussexes have in the works in one Prince Harry is particularly interested in.

This series aims to “provide viewers unprecedented access to the world of professional polo,” a sport that Harry has played for decades.

The Duke often participates in charity polo matches, including a fundraiser for a charity he co-founded in 2006, Sentebale, aimed at helping children and young people affected by poverty, inequality and HIV/AIDS in Africa.

According to a statement, “known primarily for its aesthetic and social scene, the series will pull the curtain back on the grit and passion of the sport, capturing players and all it takes to compete at the highest level.”

Both Harry and Meghan are serving as producers on the series which was filmed primarily at the U.S. Open Polo Championship in Florida, which took place in April 2024.

Titles and release dates have not yet been confirmed for either show, but it is expected that the news will be revealed in the coming months.

The Chief Content Officer of Netflix spoke at the Next on Netflix event in February and confirmed that Meghan and Harry had several projects in development.

“They have a couple of unscripted things they’re working on with Brandon [Reigg],” they said, according to HELLO! magazine. 

“And they actually have like a bunch of development. They have a movie in development, a [scripted] series that they’re working on. So all very early development, with a movie, a TV show and a couple of unscripted shows. But yeah, the movie’s great.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a multiyear deal with Netflix following their departure from the United Kingdom and their royal duties in 2020, and thus far they have released their intimate docuseries, Harry & Meghan, the Live to Lead series and the Heart of Invictus docuseries on the streaming platform.

It was also confirmed in August 2023 that their production company Archewell Productions would be adapting Meet Me at the Lake, a romance novel by Carley Fortune, into a film.
