Jessica Biel is reeling after her husband Justin Timberlake’s shock arrest in the Hamptons during a night off from The Forget Tomorrow World Tour.
The 43-year-old singer was out for dinner and drinks with friends at The American Hotel in Sag Harbor, before he left the venue around midnight.
Police parked nearby saw Justin swerving in his car and pulled him over. But the dad of two refused to take a breath test. He insisted he had only had “one martini”.
CRY ME A RIVER…
Justin was taken into custody and held overnight, charged with driving while intoxicated and two traffic violations.
Just hours after he was released, a tense-looking Jessica, 42, was on the set of her series The Better Sister in New York.
“Jessica’s furious but she’s also worried. Things have been going so well for them. Another blow to Justin’s reputation is the last thing they need,” an insider tells Woman’s Day.
“He’s extremely upset about it, but Jess just can’t understand why he’d drive in the first place.”
WHAT TOUR?
Days before the scandal, Jess posted a gushing tribute to her husband of 12 years for Father’s Day. She wrote that he was “the rock” for her and their two sons, Silas, 9, and Phineas, 3.
“It’s such a foolish mistake to make,” the source adds. “It’s also a bad example for their boys.”
It’s not the first time JT’s drinking has led to poor decisions. In 2019, Jess was red-faced when Justin was caught holding hands with co-star Alisha Wainwright, admitting he “drank way too much”.
Amid reports Justin’s tour sales have been poor, the singer copped another blow when the arresting officer didn’t even recognise him.
“Justin said under his breath, ‘This is going to ruin the tour.’ The cop replied, ‘What tour?’” a source told Page Six. “Justin said, ‘The world tour.’”
