After Sam brought the crowd to tears with laughter during last year’s ceremony, we questioned who would be game enough to follow in his footsteps?

However, we just can’t get enough of Sam as he makes a grand return in for the 64th TV WEEK Logie Awards.

“Hosting the Logies last year was an amazing experience and I’m thrilled to return in 2024,” he said in a Seven announcement.

“Adding to the excitement Seven have also given me the greenlight to try new things this year so I’m really looking forward to displaying my underappreciated and severely undeveloped song and dance skills.”

Speaking of his return, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Seven West Media, Jeff Howard said: “Sam Pang brought unabashed showbiz back to the Logies last year. He played a big part in the show drawing its biggest audience since 2017 and reaching more than 3.6 million on Channel 7 and 7plus.

“We are delighted Sam is returning in August to host this year’s celebration of everything television.”

The Logies will be returning to The Star Sydney for the special occasion, but there will be a slight tweak to the ceremony.

The judging panel has been expanded to allow a more diverse representation of Australia’s TV industry.

Plus, there have been alterations to 20 awards with “Most Popular” and “Most Outstanding” being changed to “Best.”

Additionally, a second news award has been added to the agenda.

However, three awards will remain as “Most Popular” including TV WEEK Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television, the Bert Newton Award for Most Popular Presenter and the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent.
